How our vet price tools work
Our tools use real published prices from UK veterinary practices to give you accurate cost estimates. We collect pricing data from practice websites, fee lists, and public sources — then calculate typical ranges for your area.
Prices update weekly. Each tool shows you the typical (median) cost, plus the full range from cheapest to most expensive. You'll also see how many local practices we have data for, so you know how reliable the estimate is.
From September 2026, new CMA regulations will require all UK vets to publish their prices for common treatments. Until then, our tools bridge the gap — giving you the transparency you need to make informed decisions about your pet's care.
